This fish dish was new to me but eating Spanish mackerel wasn't. Just new as in adding in the curry but it went great together. They top the Spanish mackerel with the sauce so it has the rich coconut taste of Phaenang curry.
This dish is almost always eaten with rice and has a little kick of spice to it. Phaenang curry has always been one of my favorite dishes in Thai food so I really enjoyed this meal. Yummy!!!
