Review: Blue Teal Shiraz
Hints of:
*Berry
Pairs well with:
*Lamb
*Beef
*Sausage
Do not let the bottle’s design throw you off of this gem. Initially i myself was hesitant of purchasing this bottle. It just sort of screened low grade and frivolity. What I experienced was one of the best takes on Shiraz I am remember in recent times.
The standard “go to” in Shiraz . (my favorite wine by the way) is to through it in a smoked barrel and use that to bolster the flavor. Well there was none of that with this wine. Fruit, fruit and dare I say bold fruit were the stars of the show here.
Before it I was done with the bottle and sad I hadn’t bought another. What a total delight. After some research I learned that this is actually manufactured from St. Clair Winery. This made immediate sense as we were big fans of all we tested from this wonderful discovery. You can not seem to miss with this winery’s offering in what ever label they paste onto it.
