This is a chart from the tomorows regular post on Hive inflation. From the first three months of 2026 we are on track for around 20% yearly inflation. A lot can change in the next 9 months, but will see.

So it seems that there were some top 20 witnesses that changed the APR and now the median is hovering between 14% and 15%. In the last two days it has been bumping around this number ....

So I just added a new chart on HBDSTATS.COM that is representing monthly year-over-year (YoY) inflation for Hive. As seen from the screenshot when you hover over a say the bar for February 2026 it shows

The data for February 2026 shows that at these prices, the value that we put in ciruclation from diferent sources is now bigger from the non programable share, or so to say human controled share. That

Hive is now at 20% official debt level! At this level the payouts start to be mixed with liquid HIVE and less HBD. The range between 20% to 30% is a transitional period where the payouts in liquid HBD

So we are at a record high for the Hive Debt and its now dancing around the 20%. At 20% the soft limit is breached and authors can start reciving small amount of liquid HIVE as rewards instead of HBD.

So after this last hard fork, the HBD in the DHF is removed from the base for the HIVE inflation. I was eager to see how will this affect the debt and started looking around and at first I saw the virtual
