Netralitas dan Independensi KSI di Tahun Politik

ADA yang menganggap, tahun 2018 ini merupakan tahun politik di Indonesia sebab ada 171 daerah yang menggelar pemilihan kepala daerah. Pemungutan suara serentak dilakukan di seluruh Indonesia pada 27 Juni 2018 mendatang. Masyarakat yang tercatat sebagai pemilih, serentak memilih walikota, bupati, dan gubernur di 171 daerah.

Ini merupakan pilkada serentak ketiga yang digelar di Indonesia setelah pilkada pada 2015 dan 2017 yang lalu. Pilkada serentak sebelumnya berlangsung sukses dan Indonesia menjadi contoh bagi dunia bagaimana sebuah helatan demokrasi digelar. Indonesia kian dikenal sebagai negara muslim demokratis terbesar di dunia. Banyak negara di dunia belajar dari Indonesia. Itu terlihat dari kunjungan berbagai negara ke Indonesia berkaitan dengan pemilihan umum.

Ada juga menganggap, tahun politik sesungguhnya di Indonesia adalah pada 2019 mendatang. Untuk pertama kali dalam sejarah perjalanan bangsa Indonesia, pemilu akan dilaksanakan secara serentak antara pemilihan legislatif dengan pemilihan presiden dan wakil presiden. Jadi, untuk pertama kali di Indonesia pemilhan legislatif digelar bersamaan dengan pemilihan presiden.

Terbayang betapa rumitnya pemilihan umum tahun 2019 mendatang. Sekitar 195 juta pemilih di Indonesia akan mendapatkan lima surat suara; presiden, DPR, DPD, DPRD provinsi, dan DPRD kabupaten/kota. Proses pemungutan dan penghitungan suara diperkirakan sangat rumit. Dengan empat surat suara seperti pada pemilu 2014 lalu, rekapitulasi penghitungan suara ada yang baru selesai sampai pukul 03.00 pagi. Apalagi dengan lima surat suara, meski jumlah pemilih maksimal 300 orang di sebuah tempat pemungutan suara (TPS).

Bahwa banyak anggota KSI menjadi calon anggota legislatif berbagai partai, atau mendukung calon anggota legislatif dari partai terntentu, atau mendukung pasangan calon presiden tertentu, itu merupakan hak politik warga negara. Secara personal, itu merupakan pilihan dan sikap masing-masing anggota, tidak ada kaitannya dengan KSI. Bahkan ketika ada Steemian anggota KSI menggunakan platform ini sebagai ajang untuk menegaskan pilihan politiknya, itu juga tanggung jawab dan pilihan masing-masing Steemian. Secara organisasi, KSI tidak terlibat dan tidak bertanggung jawab.

Netralitas dan independensi KSI itu untuk menjaga kekompakan dan kekuatan komunitas. KSI jangan sampai dipecah oleh kepentingan politik praktis.
