Embedding of videos into Hive's front ends has nothing to do with the core blockchain or BT. Support for external video embeds lies with the various developers of the front ends, so you can talk to them

If you paste links from youtube (at least) without inserting them specifically as a RUL then the video will embed into hive posts and be viewable inside of Hive, instead of directing people away from Hive.

This may be too much risk for people to want to take on, considering that users could potentially try to sue them if their funds go missing and also that their servers would become a high target for hackers.

The issue highlighted in this post is not connected to the Hard Fork, it was found to only apply to posts that have received over 1000 votes.
