RE: Betsy in Rehab
That is exactly what I do. Her own space, but with the others around. I also give them boiled eggs and livestock electrolytes (stress-aid) in their water. I've never looked up what it is, maybe a vitamin

RE: Betsy in Rehab
She might not be injured at all. You can feel up and down her legs, you should feel a break or she'll flinch. I've had chickens do this, develop a walking problem (suddenly). I have one right now in isolation

RE: tappity tap tap
They are maple trees, but not the "rock" or sugar maples, which produce more and sweeter sap. I only have the less valuable "red" maples. Their sap makes syrup, still, but not as much.

RE: Who IS Louis-Hippolyte La Fontaine?
In the Maritimes. He hasn't, yet, but his time is "paid up" so now he can apply.

Whoa! That's a robust fence! I was like, "how does it keep the hawks out?", then saw it's a chicken tunnel! Is it hot?!

RE: Recycling Woes
metal garbage cans aren't the worst thing ever, and pest proof. If you step on the lid so it caves in and is not convex, you could put a potted plant on it.

RE: How I healed my abscessed tooth
Thanks for this. I usu drop oil of oregano (ooo) into the back of my throat to miss the tastebuds, but I'm going to try a direct hit on the tooth that's bugging me a bit right now.

No bees!? I had a bee investigate what I was doing when I was using the chainsaw yesterday! Maybe it was the orange.

RE: Dividing and Transplanting Walking Onions
WALKING onions! omg, I had these in a garden a decade ago, and forgot the word for them, and have looked for them ever since and not found them again. Walking! I love these onions. They're immortal. Now

RE: Single Use Plastic... All the shops love it!
I hear you. I can't answer that. Except, maybe exposure? What you are exposed to is your reality. If it's tv and a full grocery store, and affluent surroundings, then there's a perception of constancy

I lost my mind the first time I saw that! I may have made a scene. There's also the disturbing foil wrapped single potato, on a styrofoam tray, with plastic wrap - baked potato ready!
