Howdie Actifitters!
We want to start off 2019 with a BANG! And what's better than a competition that gives back some amazing rewards, while carrying acts of good to charities?
Actifit as you're probably aware incentivizes people to move, do any type of activity with a recommended daily range between 5,000 and 10,000 count. You earn both AFIT tokens and STEEM upvotes for doing that and posting to the Steem blockchain via our app (Android Link | iOS Link)

As part of our vision, we also allow a portion of those earnings (the AFIT portion) to be donated to a charity upon user's choice. Currently supported charities:

Rules of the Competition
In order to be eligible for winning, you need to follow the simple rules below:
- Within a week from now, and until the payout of this post, you have 1 week to make at least 1 charity post using Actifit to participate.
- You can choose any charity of your liking.
- The more posts you make, the higher your potential of winning. As per Actifit rules, you can make one post daily, so a max of 7 posts within the week.
- The winners will be chosen randomly from the pool of all participants. Again, each post will constitute an entry, so the more charity donation posts you make, the higher chance you have of winning.
- The results will be announced shortly following the competition end.
Prizes
There will be 2 winners selected randomly from the total pool of participating actifitters.
- The first winner will be awarded with 2,000 AFIT tokens.
- Second place winner will receive 1,000 AFIT tokens.
Due to the fact that random posts are being selected and multiple entries could be available for same users, the 1st and 2nd place winners will need to be different and the random reward script will take that into consideration.
How to make a charity donation post?
This is very simple. Using Actifit app, on either the Android or the iOS version, simply do the following:
- Click on Settings
- Tick the Donate Rewards to Charity
- Select the charity of your choice
- Click Save Settings
And you're done! Next time you try to submit your post, you will receive a prompt to confirm that this post will have the chosen charity as a recipient of the rewards.
For this post, the AFIT rewards will go the charity, while the STEEM upvote rewards will be retained to the author (and beneficiaries as set by Actifit system).

A kind reminder to all actifitters: some versions of esteem app still cause issues when used to edit your reports, via removing essential info Actifit uses to identify proper reports. This prevents related reports from receiving rewards.
Until this issue is officially fixed via the esteem team, we advise that you use other Steem interfaces for editing, including our own actifit.io, steemit, busy or others.

The amount of delegated SP has a large influence over not only the daily/weekly delegation reward, but also on the amount of rewards the actifitter receives on daily reports, as it constitutes a key element in User Rank.
Which is why being an Actifit delegator now has more influence on your rewards, coupled with number of AFIT tokens and other factors highlighted before.
Add to that, and a key important item that will benefit Actifit by receiving more delegation, is the ability to claim and create more user accounts.
Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.
Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 276,000 = 36.23 AFITs

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.
