Hi y’all! This is the third installment of the fungi pic behind the Fitbit stats. This was on the same tree as the previous two. Unfortunately, the camera focused more on the wood than the fungus, but it's enough to tell it's grayish white.
They had called for rain today, and rain it did! It rained for most of the day. It was the perfect setting to get the much dreaded continuing education done. I have to do continuing education in order to retain my optician’s license. It’s not hard to do but is one of those things I just always seem to put off. I needed my contact lens CE’s so I was able to complete the 5 I needed today. I feel so much lighter! I’m done for this year, so that’s good.
In order to not wear my eyes out looking at the computer, between courses, I paced the house trying to get some steps in. Eventually my husband went hiking in the rain (he doesn’t mind getting wet-unlike me) I finished while he was still gone, and since I’d started homemade spaghetti sauce, I wasn’t going to leave it cooking and go for a small hike. I figured the kitties might get too close to the flame and that would bring on a whole lot of trouble I didn’t want or need. So, I began pacing in earnest, stopping every now and again to stir.
Dinner was spaghetti with meat sauce and mizythra cheese and browned butter. Yes, for those who know, just like the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was tasty!!😋
Shortly after dinner was done, while I was picking up the dishes, I made my daily goal of at least 10,000 steps. I was thinking I might not make it. I guess all that pacing worked. Ironically while I was pacing, I composed a tune that hopefully someday I can put lyrics to.
This lovely specimen as on another tree entirely and I have more pictures to give you the true amazing detail, but not in tonight's post. You have to wait until tomorrow to see!
Tomorrow’s another day and I’m about done for this one. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day wherever you are!😎👍
