I've recently found a tool that let shape hemomade burger, so that they remain really compact and with a perfect round shape. So, I had to try to make burgers and the result was really satisfying. Here's the recipe!
Ingredients (4 burgers)
- 400 g minced pork or beef meat
- 30g bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 spoon mustard
- 1 spoon Worchester sauce
- 4 round bacon slices
- 4 cheese slices
Directions
- Put the mince meat, bread crumbs, egg, mustard and Worchester sauce in a bowl
- Mix the ingredients until obtaining an homogeneous compound and, if you have time, let it rest in the fridge for a couple of hours to gain more taste.
- Shape the hamburgers. I used the special tool I found sometime ago, obtaining a really good result. But it is also possible to make them by hands.
- Cook the burgers for 3-5 minutes on both sides. The cooking time depends on if you prefer rear, medium-rare or well cooked meat.
- Add a slice of bacon and a slice of cheese on the top of the burger for an even more delicious result!
- Burgers are ready, eat them as you prefer!
