Hi guys! Welcome to my blog and food series on the Omakase Menu Experience. Believe it or not this is the 7th dish and it is not over! Watch this space!
Before we begin, let's do a recap, on the dishes in the Omakase Menu Experience so far.
First up we had the YELLOWTAIL TARTAR WITH CAVIAR. The next dish that was served was the NIGIRI PLATTER SET. The third dish in this Omakase Menu Experience is the NEW STYLED SASHIMI WITH WHITE FISH. And the fourth dish is the SASHIMI SALAD WITH MATSUHISA DRESSING. The fifth dish is one of their SIGNATURE HOT DISHES - THE BLACK COD MISO and the Sixth dish which was my last post yesterday, is the WILD MUSHROOM TOBAN-YAKI.
Today's 7th dish is the second last and it is the COLD NOODLES WITH TSUYU BROTH.
You get a choice with this dish, the choice of Noodles: Green Tea, Inaniwa or Buckwheat. It is a cold noodle dish and the broth is thick and sweet from the fish stock they have going for who knows how long. It is a fairly elegant presentation and the taste rounds off all the dishes you have had in the previous courses. If you look at all the dishes prior, this comes as a final cleanse to clean all the flavors before and it is a good wrap up to the meal.
As you may have guessed, the last dish is the dessert and all you sweet tooths out there - you will love it!
