Dear Hive Community and Food Lover,
today I want to share my first food post with you. The reason I want to share it, is because this dish was so delicious, healthy and easy to make. All credits to my wife because she created this dish!
I will explain you how she did it in this post.
So, my wife and I went to that nice fish market today, to buy some fresh Gilthead.

The woman at the shop kindly prepared the Gilthead ready to cook.

Next to the fish market is also a fruit and vegetable market where we bought some fresh ginger and other supplies for the next days.

If you ever come to Lisbon, you can visit this market, it is near the Saldanha Metro station

Back home, we started cooking. First thing to do, was cutting the ingredients:
1 lemon, 1 chili, half a clove garlic, some ginger, seasoning soya sauce and olive oil

We cut everything to small pieces and slices like you see on the picture

Next step, preparing the fish. Here are the batboys we just bought at the market.

We gave the fish some cuts to place some lemon slices in it. And drizzled a bit of salt and pepper on it.

Now they are ready to go in to the oiled pan.

In the next step you have to fry the fish on low heat with garlic, ginger and chilli on both sides for about 3 minutes.

After that, you have to add about 4 big spoons of soya sauce and one cup of water.
Boil the fish like this for about 10 minutes to let the sauce soak in.

Turn the fish around a few times as long as the meat is not too soft. So that the sauce can soak in. If the meat gets soft, keep on drizzling the sauce on top of the fish

When it is done, the fish should look somewhat like this and is ready to eat.

We just eat some rice with it which went perfectly together with the sauce and delicious fish meat.

We enjoyed our meal very much and probably will cook it again soon. I hope next time I can catch some fresh fish by myself. I guess the taste would be even better.
I hope you enjoyed this foody post and maybe you will try to cook the same dish too? make sure to let me know!
If you have any questions about the recipe, feel free to hit me up in the comments. I am happy to share it with you.
Have a nice evening.
See you soon
