Best part after sweating your life out is the grub afterwards!. Restoring all the nutrients you burn off and giving back to your body! I use to just throw peanut butter in the shakes and go with my day but here recently I’ve really took an interest in trying to add some greens in. Just in case I would fall short in the Breakfast area, I always fall back on my shakes to get me what I need.
For this shake in particular I used the following:
• 4oz water
• 4 carrots
• 1/2C raspberries
• 1/2C lettuce (I know it sounds horrible, bare with me!)
• 1TBS peanut buttter
• 2 scoops of chocolate whey protein mix
Blend! And serve!
Okay before anyone judges too hard on the lettuce.. haha!... I normally add spinach BUT my silly ol self ran out and well.. I literally just grabbed the next green thing I seen. :) And to be honest it was actually really good! And I’m pretty stubborn when it comes to shakes because if it has any sort of smell, I usually gag! Haha. So with that said... my 3 year old tried stealing it from me several times. (The protein mix I have is kid approved and plant based! ;) )
