I've made rice flour, grinding white rice and prepared smooth rice porridge with fruits and toasted shredded coconut.
Ingredients:
- 500 ml of water
- 7 tablespoons of rice flour
- a pinch of salt
- 2 kiwis
- some shredded coconut
- a few pomegranate seeds
Preparation:
- Finely grind rice.
- Sift it through the sieve.
- Bring water to boil. Add salt and whisk in rice flour.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring it frequently.
- Put on a lid and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
- Toast the shredded coconut on a hot pan.
- Serve the porridge with toasted coconut shreds, kiwi slices and pomegranate seeds. Add any kind of sweetener, if desired.
