Normally when we eat out in Mallorca, the starter is Spanish Tomato Toast. It's easy to make and a great sharing starter, except when you get a naughty tomato.
Spanish Tomato Toast is a sour dough bread, sliced and place under the grill until toasted and crunchy, then rubbed with oil, garlic , salt and a ripe tomato chopped in half to make a nice topping and paste, to make a really tasty starter. The problem with last night's starter was no-one wanted to chop this tomato in half......
