Last night, we wanted something refreshing and not too heavy for dinner. We have been eating a lot of meat lately, therefore, it was a wonderful idea to switch to something light.
We ended up having a simple pan seared tilapia, along with some steamed brussel sprouts and veggie quinoa as dinner. In addition, we also had some freshly baked wholegrain bread on the side.
When it comes to fish, a fresh squeeze of lemon juice is a must. Not only it adds so much flavours, it also gives us that extra vitamin C.
Come think about it, food serves many purposes. It's not just to keep us from starving, it also gives us the nutrients needed to stay healthy and to fight any diseases.
