Hola de nuevo! Hoy traigo otro post cumpliendo el vigésimo segundo día de esta esta iniciativa, la cual pueden leer aquí, agradeciendo una experiencia. Como siempre en todos estos días que llevo cumpliendo este reto, le doy las gracias a mis amigos 
Hoy quiero hablar con mucho cariño sobre un proyecto que llevé a cabo con unos muy queridos amigos y colegas músicos, el cual se llamó "Affetti Barrocchi" una propuesta que conjugaba actuación, canto y música en vivo, dando un viaje por los momentos más memorables de la música barroca italiana. Un proyecto que hicimos con todo el amor del mundo y que resultó un éxito.

Today I want to talk with much affection about a project I carried out with some very dear friends and fellow musicians, which was called "Affetti Barrocchi" a proposal that combined acting, singing and live music, giving a journey through the most memorable moments of Italian baroque music. A project that we did with all the love in the world and that turned out to be a success.

Una experiencia | An experience
Affetti Barrocchi
En el año 2019 junto con un ensamble música antigua tuvimos un proyecto de música barroca italiana, el cual tenía canto y actuación más música en vivo, en performance. Este proyecto se llamó "Affetti Barrocchi" o por su traducción al español "Afectos Barrocos", ya que mezclaba la emocionalidad, poesía, sentimientos, actuación y música antigua, dando así al público, una sensación directa del hombre del barroco. Constó de un elenco invitado de dos contratenores (Manuel Labrador y Argenis Salcedo), un actor (Marcelo Saltrón) y un director musical (Kevin Rodríguez).
En cuanto al Ensamble, constábamos de 4 violines (Samuel Estanga, Maria José Alvarez, Ibrahim Patete y yo), una viola (Camila Zapata), un cello (Luis Brito) y un clavecinista/arreglista/director musical y artístico (Abraham Urdaneta). Todos nosotros hemos tenido trayectoria en la música académica y orquestas sinfónicas de Venezuela.
In the year 2019 together with an early music ensemble we had an Italian baroque music project, which had singing and acting plus live music, in performance. This project was called "Affetti Barrocchi" or by its Spanish translation "Baroque Affections", because it mixed emotionality, poetry, feelings, performance and early music, giving the audience, a direct feeling of the baroque man. It consisted of a guest cast of two countertenors (Manuel Labrador and Argenis Salcedo), an actor (Marcelo Saltrón) and a musical director (Kevin Rodríguez).
As for the Ensemble, we consisted of 4 violins (Samuel Estanga, Maria José Alvarez, Ibrahim Patete and myself), a viola (Camila Zapata), a cello (Luis Brito) and a harpsichordist/arranger/musical and artistic director (Abraham Urdaneta). All of us have had a career in the academic music and symphony orchestras of Venezuela.

Ensayos | Practice
El proyecto era idea de nuestro Ensamble "A priori i Posteriori". Ensayamos arduamente el repertorio ya que la música barroca es muy compleja. Ensayamos es casa de Samuel y a veces, en casa de Abraham. Luego de un tiempo el proyecto tomó forma y se incorporaron los artistas invitados.
Incluso, ensayamos todo el elenco en casa de Kevin, el director invitado. Estuvimos todo un fin de semana en su casa ensayando y además, pasando buenos ratos. Debo acotar que algo que me parece fantástico es hacer música con amigos, porque hace todo más chévere y de verdad el ensamble "A priori" (como le decimos de cariño) más que un ensamble, son mis amigos.
Luego de ensayar como elenco y finiquitar los lugares en donde iban a ser las presentaciones, procedí desde las redes del ensamble a hacer publicidad ya que era la encargada en ese ámbito, y también, todos hicimos un trabajo compartiendo las fechas de las presentaciones en nuestras redes personales. Una semana antes de cada concierto, ensáyabamos en el lugar específico, y realmente me pareció una experiencia maravillosa.
The project was the idea of our Ensemble "A priori i Posteriori". We rehearsed the repertoire hard because baroque music is very complex. We rehearse in Samuel house and sometimes in Abraham house. After a while the project took shape and the guest artists joined in.
We even rehearsed the whole cast at Kevin's house, the guest director. We spent a whole weekend at his house rehearsing and also having a good time. I must say that something I think is fantastic is to make music with friends, because it makes everything cooler and really the ensemble "A priori" (as we call it affectionately) more than an ensemble, they are my friends.
After rehearsing as a cast and finishing the places where the presentations were going to be, I proceeded from the networks of the ensemble to make publicity since I was in charge in that area, and also, we all did a job sharing the dates of the presentations in our personal networks. A week before each concert, we rehearsed in the specific place, and I really found it a wonderful experience.
Presentaciones | Presentations
Nuestro primer concierto fue en el Teatro Teresa Carreño, un sábado y un domingo. Ensayamos una entrada cada músico, ya que entrábamos uno por uno tocando alguna pieza de música barroca, haciendo un efecto como de desastre, hasta que llegaba el director y daba el cierre, dando así, el inicio del concierto. Las primeras dos presentaciones fueron muy buenas.
El segundo lugar era Centro de Arte los Galpones, era un poco cansón llegar y los horarios de ensayo eran incómodos, realmente fue la presentación más tediosa, aunque al final salió bien, aprendimos a poder presentarnos a pesar de tener días malos, y apoyarnos entre todos.
El tercer lugar fue la Quinta de Anauco, una casa colonial en donde se hacen eventos culturales muy buenos. La pasamos muy bien y además, hubo una cata de ron auspiciado por "Ron Carúpano".
El último lugar para mí fue el mejor, fue en Villa Planchart. Fuimos muy elegantes a esa casa, que es enorme y hermosa. El concierto salió impecable, la pasamos muy bien ahí, la recepción fue excelente y de verdad, me encantó. Al final, hubo una cata de ron, también auspiciada por Ron Carúpano, y luego, por la hora ya que era muy tarde, nos quedamos a dormir todos en casa de Kevin.
Our first concert was at the Teresa Carreño Theater, on a Saturday and Sunday. We rehearsed one ticket per musician, as we entered one by one playing some piece of baroque music, making a sort of disaster effect, until the director arrived and gave the closing, thus giving the beginning of the concert. The first two performances were very good.
The second place was Centro de Arte los Galpones, it was a little tiring to arrive and the rehearsal schedules were uncomfortable, it was really the most tedious presentation, although in the end it went well, we learned to be able to present ourselves in spite of having bad days, and to support each other.
The third place was the Quinta de Anauco, a colonial house where very good cultural events are held. We had a great time and there was also a rum tasting sponsored by "Ron Carúpano".
The last place for me was the best, it was in Villa Planchart. We went very elegantly to that house, which is huge and beautiful. The concert was impeccable, we had a great time there, the reception was excellent and I really loved it. At the end, there was a rum tasting, also sponsored by Ron Carúpano, and then, because it was very late, we all slept over at Kevin's house.
Fue una experiencia maravillosa, recaudamos suficiente y además, la pasamos súper genial. La idea de formar y crear un proyecto como este fue algo increíble y agradezco mucho haber vivido esto. Le doy gracias a mis amigos del Ensamble "A Priori i Posteriori" por hacer posible esto, y además, por ser unos excelentes amigos. Los quiero un montón!
It was a wonderful experience, we raised enough money and had a great time. The idea of forming and creating a project like this was something incredible and I am very grateful to have lived this. I thank my friends from the Ensemble "A Priori i Posteriori" for making this possible, and also for being excellent friends. I love them a lot!
