It's not always easy to be mindful, especially if your mind is full of unhelpful thoughts, constantly fed by the mountains of fear that have been - and still are being - spread by the truckload, in the last couple of months.
Let's not be brainwashed and instead wash our brains clean, in order to make space for more helpful and positive thinking.

Believe me when I say that I understand that escaping fearful and depressing thoughts might seem to be the easy way out. This doesn't mean though that binge watching Netflix or sticking your neck in the sand will make things better. It's only a temporary relief ( that is, if you like Netflix or sand in your nose, mouth and eyes ), so called escapism ( been there, done that - so many times ).
This is literally what brings up in We Just Need to Remember - No matter how much the past months might feel like an extra scary version of The Truman Show, it is - in fact - our new reality.
She reminds us of the fact that change is only natural and that each of us are powerful, we just need to remember!

I was happy to see return with a bang! He wrote a couple of powerful posts lately around the oh-so-important themes of ( self ) love and showered us with his flowing thoughts on healing
Talking about 'healing', advises us to go into nature and Talk with the Wind and Heal, the opposite of what governments have been telling us to do in the last couple of months.
Great advice, if you ask me.
Meanwhile, Marieke / shares a beautiful ode to the sky above us, in On Meditation and Clouds
If a view like that doesn't make you feel alive ( breath taking or not )

I was also amazed by 's poem and story called We are the Seeds of Revolution. I couldn't help but feel that every word was on point, her writing flows like water.
Here's an excerpt:
I believe that the true “warriors” of our time are not holding weapons, guns, fists of anger, violence, or stories of separation. They are you and me: the lovers, the dreamers, the gardeners, the ceremony makers, the artists, the mothers and fathers, the midwives, the imagination-filled children, the wisened elders.

In This does not always Pass, talks about "inviting in pain as a tool to recovery" using a poem by Rumi on treating emotions like guests, to beautifully illustrate her thought process around and her experience with ( dealing with ) depression.
wrote a short but powerful reminder on the importance of self (love ) pointing out the following:
you are the most valuable asset in your portfolio.
reminds us of the trick to focus on the value of small things in our lives, a well known but nevertheless powerful way to up our vibration.
arrived at a new camping - or should I say car-ping ? - spot and started doing Qi Gong in the sea
His seaside video reminded me of a short film that I - - made a decade ago, dealing with ( my) depression. For those interested in seeing it, feel free to go here
The extremely prolific , made a 3.5 minute vlog, where she talks on the Positive effects that creativity tends to have on our mental health.

I know that there's a bunch of people that I'm not giving the attention that they deserve but time is probably our most precious asset aside from our health so I hope and that trust that they forgive me for that :<)
