Greetings!
Here in our country Adobo is one of the most popular dishes. Adobo could be pork, chicken, water spinach, and string beans. And adobo can also be cooked in many ways. Also, the ingredients are varied depending on the taste of the person who is cooking or depending on tradition. But most of the time an adobo does not incorporate another main ingredient other than pork, chicken, water spinach, or string beans. Most of the time spices and condiments are all that you need to cook an adobo.
But today, I am going to cook a string beans adobe with an additional ingredient, Tofu. We call Tofu Tokwa here in our country. Feel free to modify this recipe by adding more tofu or string beans. So, without further ado, here's how I cook this very simple yet tasty dish...

- String Beans - 1 Kilo
- Tofu - 500 grams
- Onion - 2 pcs, small
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Bay Leaves - 4 pcs
- Ground Black Pepper - 1/2 tbsp
- Soy Sauce - 50 ml

Slice the string beans into smaller strings
Slice the tofu into frying sizes
Peel and slice the onion
Peel and slice the garlic
Prepare the bay leaves
Prepare the soy sauce
Prepare te ground black peper

1. Fry all the tofu until golden brown

2. Slice the tofu into cubes then set aside
3. Saute the onion and the garlic
4. Add all the string beans
5. Add the ground black pepper
6. Add the bay leaves
7. Add the soy sauce, you can adjust the saltiness of the soup by adding some salt, as for mre, the soy sauce is alread enough for me
8. Add 500 ml of water then let it boil
9. When the string beans start to become transparent add the tofu
10. When the strings beans are cooked it is done

That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
