Greetings!
Here's another snack that I love very much because it is very delicious and very refreshing, we call it "Banana Con Yelo". In our language, "Yelo" is the equivalent of "Ice". This snack only consists of four ingredients, namely banana, evaporated milk, sugar, and ice.
I first tasted this very delicious snack when I am already a teenager (when I was in high school). And I first saw it being sold on small stalls when I first lived in a city that is more than an hour's drive from my hometown.
At first, I am not giving attention to this snack because I am very much familiar with bananas and I know very well how a banana tastes. But I see a lot of teenagers buying Banana Con Yelo on stalls that are selling this snack.
And then I started being curious because there are really a lot of teenagers and children buying it.
And so one day, out of my curiosity I tried to buy some. And boy, it tasted very delicious the ingredients are complementing each other and the coldness makes it a very perfect and delicious snack for summer.
And from then on it became one of my favorites when it comes to snack that is delicious and very easy to prepare.
So, without further ado, here's how I cook this very delicious and refreshing snack...

- Banana (Saba)
- Evaporated Milk (140 ml)
- Brown Sugar (about 100 grams)

Peel the bananas (saba)
Prepare the evaporated milk
Prepare the brown sugar
Prepare some ice (you can prepare the ice later, if you do prepare it now you should put it back in the refrigerator until you use it)

1. Put all the peeled bananas in a cooking bowl
2. Add the brown sugar
3. Add some water until all the bananas float
4. Let them boil in high heat for about 3-4 minutes (by the way, I am boiling it in wood as a flame can be seen in the photo)
5. When it is boiling remove the light-purple suds that will come out
6. After 3 to 4 minutes get some banana and taste it if it is already cooked
7. If the bananas are already cooked, get some soup, taste it, if the sweetness is now okay it is done, if it lacks sweetness (according to your preference) add some brown sugar then remove from heat
8. Let it cool a room temperature (you can cover it so that flies will not get into it, in my case I covered it so that flies cannot get into it)
9. And this is how they look like when they are already cooled down
10. Add all the evaporated milk (you can use more evaporated milk if you want, the more the better, or according to your preference, as for me, I like it a little bit creamier and with exact sweetness, not too sweet, just enough sweetness)
11. Stir it
12. Serve it in a separate bowl
13. Here's mine, there are actually 4 pieces of bananas in it.
14. Then add some blocks of ice (you can add more according to your preference), and it is done... let's eat!
