Greetings!
Here's a dish that I like to cook when I am in a hurry or if I am very hungry (and I need a quick meal) or if I can't think of recipes to cook. I call it "Ginisang Corned Beef na may Patatas", in our language "Patatas" is the equivalent of "Potato", and Ginisa/Gisa is the equivalent of "Sautee".
I learned this recipe from my elder sister when I was in high school. My sister would cook this dish if we need a quick meal or if she can't think of a recipe to cook. My sister's version and my version of this dish actually do not have a soup. But when I first attempted to cook it when I and my wife is just starting she told me to put some soup on it.
Cooking this dish with or without soup is equally delicious. If you are going to cook this recipe with no soup I recommend that you take it a notch. After cooking, put the dish in a microwaveable plate or container then add/cover the top with cheese then baked it in over until you see some golden on the cheese.
By the way, if you do want to add soup to this recipe make sure not to add too much. Adding little water to it is best.
And do, without further ado, here's how I cook this simple and tasty dish...

- Corned Beef (150 grams)
- Potatoes (four pieces)
- Green Pepper (for aroma)
- Onion
- Salt (to taste)
- Cooking oil (for sauteeing)

Peel, wash, and slice the potatoes into cubes
Peel and slice the onion
Prepare the corned beef
Prepare the green pepper

1. Sautee the onion in a cooking oil
2. Add the potatoes
3. Add some water (enough to submerge the potatoes)
4. Add the corned beef
5. Stir so that the corned beef will be cooked faster, then add some salt
6. When the taste is now done and if the potatoes are about to be cooked add the green pepper
7. When the green pepper is cooked, it is done...
