Greetings!
When it comes to fish soup my all-time favorite is the "Sinigang na Bangus". Sinigang na Bangus is a very versatile dish with a sour taste and lots of soup, you can cook it with lots of vegetable options as ingredients.
The most popular vegetables that are being combined with that Sinigang na Bangus are Snow Cabbage, in absence of Snow Cabbage you can use Water Spinach if Water Spinach is not available you can use Mustard.
Once you determined the main vegetable that you want you can add another vegetable such as Okra, in the absence of Okra you can use String Beans. Any type of long String Beans would do. Adding Okra and Sting Beans is optional.
As for me, my most favorite vegetable that I use when I am cooking Sinigang na Bangus is Snow Cabbage. And most of the time I only use Snow Cabbage without any additional vegetables such as Okra or String Beans.
But today, the variant that I am going to share with you is the variant with additional vegetables. I added Okra to the main vegetable ingredient which is Snow Cabbage.
By the way, we call Milk Fish as Bangus and Snow Cabbage as Pechay.
This dish is perfect for cold weather because of its soup. Most of the time this dish is served during lunchtime followed by dinner.
Without further ado, here's I cook this very delicious and healthy dish called "Sinigang na Bangus na my Pechay at Okra".

- Milk Fish (Bangus)
- Snow Cabbage (Pechay)
- Okra
- Green Pepper
- Onion
- Ginger
- Powdered Tamarind
- Salt

Clean the Milk Fish (Bangus), remove the scales and fins, then slice into serving portions

Clean and remove small part of the stem of snow cabbage just like the photo below
Clean the Okra and remove the upper portion and the lower potion (you can definitely elect not to remove the upper and lower portion of the Okra, removing them in only my preference)
Peel and slice the ginger (you can definitely slice the ginger anyway you want)
Peel and slice the onion (you can definitely slice the onion any way you want)
Clean and prepare the Green Pepper
Prepare the powdered tamarind

1. Put all the ingredients in a pot except for Snow Cabbage and Powdered Tamarind
2. Add some water (submerging all the ingredients, you can definitely add more water if you want)
3. Add some salt
4. Remove the bubbles at first boil
5. After removing all the first-boil-bubble add the powdered tamarind
6. IMPORTANT: After adding the powdered tamarind remove all the Okra then set it aside (we need to remove all the Okra so that it will not be overcooked)
7. After removing all the Okra it is now time to add the snow cabbage, using a ladle submerge all the snow cabbage
8. After submerging all the snow cabbage let it boil

9. When the snow cabbage is cooked turn off the heat, put all the Okra back and it is done
