Good day!
It is cooking time again for lunch. Today, I am going to show how to cook Pork Adobo (Pork in Soy Sauce). This dish is one of my favorites. I can eat a lot of rice if Adobo is the partner of my rice. As usual, my husband is still a bit busy so I am the one cooking for today's lunch.
Pork Adobo (Pork in Soy Sauce) is actually very easy to cook, in fact, it is one of the easiest because there is no vegetable involved in the recipe some spices plus Soy Sauce and Vinegar.
Ingredients
- Pork (400 grams)
- Garlic (1 clove)
- Onion (half, small)
- Soy Sauce (4-5 tablespoon)
- Vinegar (2-3 tablespoon)
- Black Pepper (about 2-3 grams)
- Cooking Oil (1 tablespoon)
Prepaing the ingredients
Just peel and slice the one clove of garlic
Peel and slice the onion
Here is the black pepper
Here is the vinegar (I am only going to use about 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar)
Here is the soy sauce (I am only going to use 4-5 tablespoons of soy sauce)
I slice the pork into one-bite cubes
How to cook
1. Sautee the onion and garlic in one tablespoon of cooking oil
2. Add the pork and continue to sautee, add 1-2 cups of water
3. Add the black pepper and continue to saute
5. Add soy sauce (about 4-5 tablespoons)
6. Add vinegar (about 2-3 tablespoons) and wait to boil until the pork is tender
7. When the pork is already tender turn off the heat.
8. Put into a bowl and serve
