This week for deliveries, I thought of doing something really special which I haven't made this in 10 years. The last time I made this was for my ex-girlfriend (who is now my wife). That was my first time cooking for her but after 10 years, I've gotten better at cooking and this time attempted to do it again and man was it superb!
On the first few days we only managed to sell a handful or portions. But after pictures were uploaded of the food and the deliveries, we had the orders come pouring in yesterday night. Dinner was busy and we managed to churn out a good amount of portions. I suppose the pictures really helped and it looked so good people really wanted to try it

So what is a Chicken Kiev? Probably there's no such dish in Ukraine but anyway, it's a chicken breast that is stuffed with a herb and garlic butter and then sealed with flour, eggs, and breadcrumb before getting shallow fried in oil. For mine, I shallow fried it just for a few minutes, not to cook the inside but just to fry the outside and get a good crust and color to the chicken.
I then put it in a 200 degree celcius oven for about 15 minutes and done. I served this with some oven roasted potatoes as well and some honey glazed carrots. But that'll be for another post :D
It tasted super delicious and I brought back a portion for my ex-girlfriend. She really enjoyed it and was raving how she didn't remember it was that good. I suppose she was right and I have improved over the years :D
