Healthy greetings everyone. Thank you foodies bee hive community, on this occasion I will try to make a traditional Balinese food, namely Sate lilit (satay wrap ).
This satay wrap is already well known on the island of Bali, available in restaurant, and people are already familiar with this food,with its special using lemongrass stalks.
The main ingredient for making satay lilit such as
- 300 grams of chicken meat, mashed
- 50 grams of roasted grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon tamarind
- 1 stalk lemongrass, finely chapped
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 lime leaves
- 10 to 15 lemongrass stalks for skewers.
Ground spices
- 3 red chilies (optioned)
- 5 centimeters of turmeric on fire
- 2 centimeters ginger
- 4 hazelnuts rosted
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
Step of the cooking process
Step 1 puree the ingredients in a blender.
Step 2 stir fry the ingredient until fragrant, enter the tamarind, lemongrass spices,bay leaves, lime leaves,mix well and set a side.
Step 3 mix the chicken meat with grated coconut, puree again,
Step 4 prepare the lemongrass stalks, wrap the satay meat on the lemongrass stalk,
Step 5 grilled satay or grilled over medium heat, and sate lilit(satay wrap) ready to eat satay.
