Shit on a shingle (SOS) is an unofficial US military food term. That is the ultimate comfort meal that's fast and inexpensive.
So is my dish, but we make a delicious tuna and egg salad.
Sch... auf einer Schindel (SOS) ist ein inoffizieller Lebensmittel Begriff des US-Militärs. Das ist ein Essen, welches schnell zubereitet und preiswert ist.
Das ist mein Gericht auch, aber wir machen einen köstlichen Thunfisch- und Eiersalat.
Here are the biggest parts of the ingredients we need. These are onions, mustard, mayonnaise, pickles, celery, olives and eggs. I'm going to add half an avocado, so it gets creamier. Don't forget the tuna.
Hier erstmal der größte Teil an Zutaten, die wir benötigen. Das sind Zwiebeln, Senf, Mayonnaise, Gewürzgurken, Sellerie, Oliven und Eier. Ich nehme noch eine halbe Avocado dazu, dann wird es cremiger. Thunfisch nicht vergessen.
Now mix the mayonnaise, mustard, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper and avocado until smooth.
Nun mixe die Mayonnaise, Senf, Petersilie, Paprika, Salz, Pfeffer und Avocado zu einer cremigen Paste.
Now the celery, olives, pickles and onions are finely chopped and added to the paste.
Jetzt wird der Sellerie, Oliven, Gewürzgurken und Zwiebeln klein gehackt und in die Paste gegeben.
Don't forget the tuna fish.)
Thunfisch nicht vergessen.;)
Finally, add the boiled and finely chopped eggs. Stir everything again.
Zum Schluss noch die gekochten und klein gehackten Eier dazu geben. Alles nochmals verrühren.
That's about it. You can enjoy the tuna-egg salad on toast or with tortilla.
