Beef Tongseng
The meat and vegetable mix makes for one of the highlights of the plate. How come? This dish is one of the best in my opinion. It's so delicious that even the colors and mixture of various ingredients are something I really miss. There are many types of processed meat that are luxurious and delicious. But, don't the simple ones also have their own deliciousness?
Today I made something delicious for the dinner table, namely stir-fried meat with various vegetables. This menu is quite simple, but there are many benefits to having balanced nutrition, right? But still pay attention to the portion you eat. Usually I make dishes like this not to be enjoyed alone but can be eaten by a family in a house of 2 to 4 people, of course as a side dish to accompany dinner.
Materials Used
200 grams of beef
2 cabbage leaves
2 potatoes
1 stalk lemongrass
3 cloves of red onion
1 clove of garlic
3 green chilies
3 red chilies
1 tomato
Cooking Steps
Start cutting the vegetables first, here I cut the cabbage into large pieces.
Slice the onions, chilies and tomatoes.
Fry the meat in hot oil until brownish yellow.
After beef golden brown, Then cut the potatoes into cubes.
Saute, shallots and garlic and 1 stalk of lemongrass in hot oil. Then add the chilies and saute until all the ingredients are wilted.
Add the tomato pieces, then add the potatoes into it and stir until evenly mixed.
Add a little water to cook the potatoes, then add the chopped cabbage.
Then finally, when the vegetables are cooked, add the meat, stir and season with salt. Check the taste and ready to serve.
Results
Tongseng beef with various vegetables is ready to be enjoyed, serve while warm with enough white rice. Or you can enjoy this dish straight away, because the mixture of potatoes, vegetables and meat is very complete in my opinion. The combination of vegetables and meat is so perfect, the natural sweet and savory taste of the meat makes me crazy with the taste. Moreover, the spicy combination in it really makes this dish perfect!
