Small food carts are the absolute best place where you can find the best food at a reasonable price. Bangladesh is well known for its street food so it was quite an experience. The food we had was pretty good and the price was very reasonable just like any other time.
I had been to this place before but this time tried something new.
Let me share my experience.
Last weekend, we went to the nearby marketplace to grab some electronics goods. My laptop charger was not working well, also I needed a new phone cover. Also, we had to buy some other nitty-gritty things as well.
So I decided to not prepare any snacks for the afternoon rather grab something from the food court.
There were almost 20 shops in front of the marketplace. From small snacks like waffles to tea, from a heavy meal like a stake to juice & soda, you can find anything there. The place is very popular around here, always very crowded. You can guess how good the food must be.
We first ordered chicken chaap with luchi. They served it with some salad and tamarind sauce. It was mouthwatering good. I loved the spicy and tangy taste of the chicken and the luchi was very well going with the chicken. One plate costs $1.20. It was a good deal, I would say.
Then comes the mini chicken burger. It was not high quality like we get from restaurants. But guess the price! It was just $0.60. So I think that was not bad compared to the price. I mean what else I could ask for! It can be a good grab when you are super hungry and need something to fill your stomach.
After that, I saw a mini cart was selling waffles. I thought it would be a good dessert option. But they were chicken-filled waffles. I never had them before but it was also not bad. One stick costs only $0.25 so compared to the price it was quite good as well.
We had a good evening having the food over there.
