A few days ago I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Poldino restaurant, very well known in the area, a little far from home but it is a trip worth it. Their food combines tradition and innovation and they pay particular attention to the freshness and quality of the raw materials which makes it a slightly more expensive place than a standard restaurant but the quality is worth it This place has a long history and was a family-run restaurant linked to traditional Tuscan cuisine, loved by many and appreciated by couples, families or groups.
As you can see from the photos, the dishes are creative and imaginative, a joy for the kids, each dish looks like a work of art and cuisine and a mix of new and old. We took a particular and innovative dish first, paccheri with red cream, a delicate dish with the addition of gorgonzola and pears, truly delicious.
We also had the rice timbale, which was also very delicate, with pieces of truffle on top placed on pecorino cream and melted bacon, the tastiest rice I've ever tasted!
As a second course, however, I took the soft potato dish, a really good and delicious flan, and some rabbit morsels seasoned with apricots and strings of vegetables, really soft and delicious, my husband instead took the fried wild boar meat, also accompanying it with the soft potato, says it was crunchy and delicious meat. For dessert I had a simple honey sorbet with milk chocolate and a cascade of hazelnuts, delicious, my husband had a dark chocolate cake filled with dark chocolate and hazelnuts, in short, a nice meal that left us satisfied!
