Introduction
Hello there! @Saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
I'm here for this week's Battle Mage Secrets with the featured ruleset Weak Magic. It is a ruleset that makes magic attack to pass through armor first before it can damage the target, much more similar to Void Armor.
The Battle that I will show to you this week was from which is an alternate account I'm playing that uses NFTY Arcade deck delegation to be able to play on Diamond League. Before I show you the battle, let us learn more about this ruleset.

Protect, Repair, Rust are useful in this ruleset. Beware the opponent could choose only Melee and Ranged monsters, so keep a tank with Shield. Summoners that can give armor to monsters is also preferred to use on this ruleset.

My Team
For this battle, we have Up to Eleven which means that all of our monsters got the Amplify ability and the featured ruleset which is Weak Magic that makes magic attack to go through armor first before it can damage health. With this in consideration, my lineup was consist of:
Summoner: Kelya Frendul - Gives +1 Speed and Armor on all allied monsters and ideal for Weak Magic ruleset.
1st Position: Baakjira - Has additional counter for magic units with its Void ability and can sustain the damage it received with Heal. It also increases the health of all allied monsters with Strengthen and reduce the speed of the opponent with Slow.
2nd Position: River Hellondale - Has the Resurrect ability which allows it to revived one monster after it was defeated. It also increases the damage of all melee monsters with Inspire while remove the buffs of the target with Dispel.
3rd Position: Main damage dealer for this team was Deeplurker that can attack the monster with lowest health using Opportunity while also inflicting Poison that reduce the health of the target every turn. It also has Demoralize which reduces the melee attack of all opponent monsters.
4th Position: Pelacor Bandit - despite its small mana, it was very fast and has huge damage with Sneak that allows it to attack backline monsters and Flying that gives it 25% change to evade attacks.
5th Position: Angelic Mandarin - Reduces the magic attack of all opponent monsters with Silence while it can also restore the health of the backline monster that receives damage with Triage.
6th Position: Wave Brood - Has the Taunt ability which forces monsters to only attack this card and at the same time, it has Void which reduces damage from magic attacks. Not only that, it also have the Return Fire ability that reflects range damage towards the attacker and it can attack even when at the 1st position with the Close Range ability.

Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at Splinterlands.
Did your Strategy Work?
Magic was the most flexible attack because it can pass through most armors and directly damage the targets health but that changes when the Weak Magic ruleset was in play. Aside from giving armor to my monsters with the help of my summoner, I also use monsters with Void and Silence to make magic attacks more weaker and that was the key that leads me to win this battle.
That was it for this post. Thank you and see you at the next one.
