Introduction
Hello there! @Saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
I'm here for this week's Battle Mage Secrets with the featured ruleset Stampede. It is a ruleset were only all monsters got the Enrage ability to all monsters.
The Battle that I will show to you this week was from my account which is an alt account I'm using with Nfty Arcade max level CL deck and was playing at the modern format of the Diamond League. Before I show you the battle, let us learn more about this ruleset.
Super Sneak
Super Sneak | All Melee attack Monsters have the |
Sneak was the ability that allows monsters to target the last monster of enemy team instead of the first monster and with the Super Sneak ruleset, all melee monsters were given with this ability. Most of the melee monsters cannot really attack unless there were at the first position but with this ruleset, it gives them freedom to attack. Unless there is a monster with Taunt on the enemy's team, Sneaking Monsters will always attack the last position.

My Team
For this battle, we have the featured rule set Super Sneak that gives the Sneak ability on all melee monsters and their attack will not miss because of Aim True while summoners will not be able to use their ability due to Silence Summoner. With this in consideration, my lineup was consist of:
Summoner: Quix the Devious - Although summoners lose their activate their abilities, It still allows another element to be able to used in the lineup.
1st Position: Blinding Reflector has Magic Reflect that can return magic damage to the attacker and Blind that gives 15% dodge chance on all my monsters when attacked.
2nd Position: Djinn Renova - Provides heal on backline monsters that received damage with Triage and increases the base health of all allied monsters with Strengthen.
3rd Position: Adelade Brightwing - Restores the armor of an allied monster with Repair and revives a defeated monster onces with Resurrect. it also has Flying that increase evasion chance by 25% and Swiftness that increase the speed of all allied monster by +1 until it was defeated.
4th Position: Time Mage has the ability to reduce the speed of all opponent monsters with Slow and their speed with Rust that will take effect until it was defeated in battle.
5th Position: Jared Scar - has the Bloodlust ability that increases all of its stats by +1 for every monster that it defeats and Piercing that allows it to inflict any excess damage to its armor to its health.

Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at Splinterlands.
Did your Strategy Work?
For this battle, there was a large mana cap so we can play many melee monster with high damage output that can attack backline monster due to sneak but I did not really go all out on melee monster and instead, I placed Arkemis the Bear as my backline tank with its Forcefield ability that serves to reduce the damage inflicted by monsters with 5 or more damage in to 1 which proves to be the right choice as my opponent monsters with high damage. Forcefield should be a consideration when dealing with battles that have high damage output but the opponent did not expect that and that is why I won this match.
That was it for this post. Thank you and see you at the next one.
