Hey, hey gearheads! π
Are you ready for some squeaking wheels, smoke, and lots of adrenaline making your heart beat faster? π
Today we are back on the starting grid with a new Live Summit entitled Pole Position 2 so if you are not convinced by the featured image already, let's jump into our bitesize round-up and check out what we can expect to find during this week in The Crew 2.
You can never stay away from the adrenaline of the racetrack where the precision... the tension... itβs where true champions can fully express themselves. So let's wait no more and see how you master the track on 2 wheels with the Pole Position 2 Live Summit that will run between 16 - 23rd February with the following races:
- Slalom - being required to do slaloms between various poles places on a circuit and collect at least 4,040 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Escape - where you are requested to drive a vehicle on the streets of the US for no less than 930 meters away of a specific radar location. [No Restriction Race]
- Low Altitude - where you are needed to fly a plane and keep it as low as possible to collect at least 2,800 points to move further. [No Restriction Race]
- Touring - a first race on the circuit where you have to drive a specific bike and place yourself amongst the Top 3 positions to win this. [GPZ 900 R "Ninja" required]
- Touring - one more race on the circuit but where the single request here is to use a bike for this and also get on one of the Top 3 positions. [Bike required]
- Touring - a 3rd race in the same style as the previous two but which is held on a city's streets and your enemy is the time where you have to score a record lower than 06:50.000 minutes. [Bike required]
- Touring - back to the circuit races but where you have to drive a specific bike and cross the finish line on one of the Top 3 places. [Ninja H2 required]
- Touring - similar to the previous one but this time you are allowed to use any bike for this race. You also have to get on one of the Top 3 positions. [Bike required]
- Touring - ending the event with one more race held on the streets of the city beating the score of 04:50.000 minutes. [Bike required]
While in some of my previous posts about The Crew 2 and its Live Summits released I was complaining about having too many races from the same category, today I can't do that anymore because I'm a big fan of bikes and honestly I don't think there will ever be too many races with this beautiful gems on two wheels. At least for me! π
But to start with the beginning, I had to purchase two bikes here because even though I already own quite a few motorbikes, those required on the 4th and 7th races were missing. Happily, the thing that I played almost daily the tasks from the Motorpass and some other races too, helped me get a nice amount of money in my wallet and there were no efforts on my end to afford to buy the GPZ 900 R "Ninja" and Ninja H2 ones where each was around 350,000 bucks.
As soon as I upgraded them to the fullest, I began with the slalom which is a race that I do like a lot, especially when it's held on a circuit and I can make the dance while riding a bike! π
As you can see, the Escape race was the single one that made me not hit that 100,000 points goal I always have in mind while completing these missions, but at least I approached it pretty much so let's say I'm fine with that because I'm used to having a visible less score on this kind of activities. Perhaps that's caused because I played the Live Summit when it was barely released and there was not too much competition into the game, huh! π
I also had a pleasing surprise with the Low Altitude challenge that was a pain in the... previous Live Summit! π
I simply hate to fly a plane and keep it close to the ground. I mean, it's a plane because it must fly up in the sky, right? Well, in this game there are this kind of tasks where you have to keep it very close to the ground and collect points and if you are close to a forest or lots of trees, this will becoming quite annoying sooner or later. But happily today it was an easier radar location and everything went smooth, yay!
As for the rest of the 6 races which are all based on the TC discipline, I don't think there's too much to be said other than the thing that you will have lots of fun driving different bikes on both circuits and streets which can be quite easily won if you like this type of vehicles. There is also a nice reward on the 7th race with 20x Motorstars that will get you 2 levels further in The Contractor Season - Episode 2 which is still ongoing.
And since we are talking about that, I won't hesitate to proudly say that I managed to complete this episode with a lot more time before this will end, being 28 days available left. I couldn't wait to put my hands on the last set of clothes for my character but also on the vehicle which seems like being part of a completely different game, lol.
Now all I have to do, is to wait for the next episode or season to be released and have fun playing more Live Summits that are coming out weekly. π
What about you though? Did you play today's Live Summit released or completed the Episode 2 from The Contractor season already? If so, what are you favourite items you got as a drop? Can't wait to hear your thoughts in the comments! π
