It's only the middle of the week and I already feel tired, crawling to the weekend which is not too far away but which this is how it feels when you didn't have one of the best weeks so far. Having a similar mood? Welcome to the club! Yay! š
Anyway, what I like about Wednesdays is that they always come with a new Live Summit being released in The Crew 2 which more or less will make your day better feeling a little bit more adrenaline while squeezing the controller in your hands in some challenging races around the United States.
Though, as you might already have noticed in the banner from above, we have something new this week, which is the moment I was looking for as soon as I finished completing all the weekly and daily tasks from the first episode in The Contractor Season, namely, to have another episode released that will come with new things to do in the game but also with plenty of new items to collect depending on your rank and skill.
Anyway, as nobody likes rambling too much, I think we should first take a look at the 9 missions released in Misty Mountains Live Summit that will run between 19 - 26th January with the following tasks:
- Slalom - being required to do slaloms between various objects placed on an off-road trail and collect at least 4,220 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Escape - where you are requested to get at least 990 meters away from a red dot on the radar that is covering more and more of the map. [No Restriction Race]
- Low Altitude - where you are needed to keep your plane as low as possible to the ground and collect at least 3,950 points to qualify further. [No Restriction Race]
- Hypercar - a race with more adrenaline and speed held on the streets where you have to drive a specific vehicle and get on one of the Top 3 positions to win this. [One-1 required]
- Rally Raid - a first serious off-road race where you need to take a ride in the woods and finish the race faster than 03:25.548 minutes. [Silverado 1500 Intrepid required]
- Motocross - a pretty fast race in the forest with a bike where you also need to finish the race faster than 02:19.767 minutes. [No Restriction Race]
- Rally Cross - another off-road race but this time with a Rally Cross vehicle and where you can occupy any of the first 3 positions to win this. [No Restriction Race]
- Rally Raid - as it's pretty easy to get in the top 3 to win a race, there is one more race where the single enemy is the time and you have to finish this faster than 03:16.162 minutes. [No Restriction Race]
- Rally Raid - ending the event in the same style with a last off-road race but which is held on a Rally Cross circuit and you have to win this before 07:20.000 minutes. [No Restriction Race]
I think there is no need to say that the event is mostly focused on off-road trails and races and so you should get used with plenty of dust and mud on your vehicles because that can be easily seen in the picture from above where there are only two exceptions, namely the Low Altitude and Hypercar races.
Even though in the Low Altitude one you are flying a plane, you won't stay away from forest and muddy paths as that is where you have to keep your plane as low as possible, but make sure to avoid all those trees which are never ending and will make the whole race a lot more challenging.
The Hypercar race is the single one I didn't manage to complete because I wasn't owning the vehicle and this costs around 2,600,000 bucks so I have to do a lot more tasks until I'll collect the whole amount, but I'm pretty sure it's also held in the forest even if it will be on the street. š
On a separate note, it's the first time ever when I manage to hit the 100,000 points goal I always set to myself in just two races and that's caused of two reasons actually. The main one is my interest being mostly focused on the episode that was just released and not paying too much attention on the races from the Musty Mountains Live Summit, but there is also the update that was made to the game and possibly there is a bug which makes your points collected for the score a lot harder to count.
I mean, just look at the first two races - 793 and 156 points on the scores. What a shame!!!
I actually never had the problem reaching the objective every race has, but this time it looks like this is so far and hard to be reached that it makes me feel really bad at playing this game, lol.

However, as I almost completely forgot about the Live Summit released being way too excited for the new episode coming out in The Contractor Season, it's finally the moment to also check out what this is coming with. š¤
The thing that most of the races released in the Live Summit were off-road, it was a sign that we should be expecting to get this on the new episode too.
Of course, there were not too many expectations to have too many things changed in the game since the activites were pretty clear when the season was released with all 3 types of races where you either transport people with a taxi or Lambo, the 3rd one being a job as a courier.
To be honest the surprise came when I opened up the game and saw the trailer of the new episode which turned everything into a really fun experience being mostly focused on the off-road life, with both specific cars and new clothes for your character. And I'm such a nerd for camo and army clothes and off-road vehicles! š„°
Anyway, what I was more interested in, was the trail of drops you can get depending on the level you make by completing the weekly and daily missions because when the season was released there weren't too many things that caught my attention, comparing these with the items you could get in the previous seasons.
Happily, we have something new this time, with a lot more interesting drops to add to your inventory and collection of vehicles, so I think it's a pretty promising start which will make me open the game more often than I was doing before. š
But just like I explained in the post where I presented the first episode from this season, nothing comes free, or... almost nothing. Because there are a few drops that can be collected at no cost but if you don't have the premium version of the motorpass you will lose the whole fun.
So, there are two categories you can pick from where the 2nd one comes with a bonus of 12 more drops to be collected compared with the first version of the motorpass, so if you collected the CC points during this whole time or you have a few euros to spend into a game, you should go for it because it's definitely worth it.
Honestly, I never afforded to buy the 2nd category because I always stayed away from investing real money in virtual things and for a happiness of a moment and collecting these amounts in-game is pretty hard and it requests a lot of gaming hours, so I will say that I'm pretty satisfied even for just getting the first type of motorpass.
Keep in mind that all 5x daily tasks released will take you just one lever further while if you complete just one weekly challenge this will upgrade your tier with two levels, so if you are not enjoying the daily ones which are definitely a lot easier to complete, jump in for the weekly tasks that will make you complete everything faster.
Personally, I completed today the 5x daily challenges and 2x weekly tasks to reach level 5 and get some of the items already. The car from the picture above is the first reward you will receive and I'm really happy for owning this as it's a Hypercar from 2020 with a lot of speed and fun while driving it. And I can't wait to unlock a lot more rewards soon! š
