Yoyoyo Runners !!!
Today my workout was an interval session of 7×1000m, and I was really looking forward to it, as I wanted to see how much I’ve improved compared to the previous one. In general, I was in a great mood, since running is something I truly enjoy!
I would have liked to do this workout early in the morning at 7 a.m., but it was raining, so once the rain stopped, it was time to go in the afternoon. I went to university at 9, attended my classes, and then headed to the track.

- 2.2K Warm Up (5:39/km)
- 5x(100 (20'') + 1:30R (100m))
- 2' R
- 7x(1000 (4:10-4:20/km) + 1' R)
- 2.2K Cool Down (7:17/km)
More details:
- The only negative today was the strong wind.
- The workout started smoothly; the 100m strides came out a bit faster.
- The 1000m repeats were faster than planned (4:10–4:20 instead of 4:25).
- I felt a bit of fatigue in the middle of the 6th and throughout the 7th repeat, but nothing serious.
- I believe I could have done 8–9 repeats at this pace.
From here on:
Tomorrow, Friday, is a rest day. The next workout will be on Saturday with something easy.
I might also add some kilometers on the bike.
