Hi dreamers & hivers! Hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend.
Yesterday I shared about a good weekend stay in Carles, Iloilo. Today, let me show you a unique stay in Roxas City that makes one experience more than a weekend but decades back.
This is Roxas President's Inn.
Roxas President's Inn's name came from the former President of the Philippines, Manuel Roxas, who was born and raised just one block from the hotel. It is situated at the heart of Roxas City (formerly municipality of Capiz),just a few meters away from the historical/cultural landmarks in the city. If you are planning to spend a night in Roxas City, try to check out this place.
What makes this hotel unique among others is its Spanish-Filipino-inspired architecture. The highlight of the hotel: the stairs.
I was in awe as soon as I saw the stairs. From the first floor, they already looked stunning as in the photo below. The photo above is from the second floor which truly sends a nostalgic feeling to their guests.
It was equally elegant as seen from the 3rd floor.
Each room in the hotel is named after the former presidents of the Philippines. (I wish my gradeschool teachers named the classrooms after the Presidents' name too so students were able to memorize the names).
There are different room configurations for solo, couple, and for guests in group. Photo above is good for 2 pax and was worth 50usd per night.
Another admirable details about this hotel are the artworks on the wall.
Even from the outside, Roxas President's Inn is showing off the vintage vibe.
The accommodations also come with free breakfast.

They also have a mini restaurant at the first floor.
After a night of stay (and before we left the place) we decided to check another room on the first floor. It's like a souvenir shop and a museum with all the native finds.
I read from their materials that they also offer a room for their guests who want to host a meeting. I was assuming they were using the same room.
That ends our quick stay at Roxas President's Inn. It is a fairly awesome place for when you want to roam quickly around. The place is not huge but there are a lot of things to see.
Don't forget to checkout this accommodation out for when you have a change to visit Roxas City!
Hello! Appreciate everyone reading for my posts and sending upvotes. Makes my heart happy as always. Love lots!
