🥇 ¡Salinas de Pampatar - Isla de Margarita! 🌊💖 [ESP/ENG] by
On arrival in Catania we headed to the upper deck of the Norwegian Star to take in the view. We were overwhelmingly greeted by Mount Etna. Mount Etna is an active Stratovolcano that fills the horizon beyond the City. Many folk opted for Volcano tours, but we decided to rather spend time in the City exploring.
As soon as we dismbarked we found the stop for the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus. This bus service only had 1 circular route which went from the harbour up the coast to Castello Normanno and then back down towards the city. The bus only made 3 stops, so it wasn't the best value for money this time, but the views from the bus were beautiful and we wouldn't have known to visit the castle if not for the bus.

🥈 Vila Real - Parque Florestal / Riding Portugal by
Vila Real, a city located in the heart of Trás-os-Montes, has always had a special place in my heart, especially after my first visit when I was just seven years old. At the time, the trip was an invitation from my father, who was going to the city for work, and asked if I wanted to accompany him. The promise of "touching the clouds" became an unforgettable memory. The trip was marked by a dense fog that covered the mountains, and, as surreal as it may seem, I remember stretching my hands out the car window and feeling that I was somehow touching the clouds. It was a magical and enchanted setting, and I, as a little girl, felt as if I had won the lottery of life.

🥉 Mediterranean Cruise: Catania, Sicily (5) by
Hey dear community! What a joy to come back here to show you more wonders of the beautiful Margarita Island, I am super cool, happy because I am sharing pictures from a viewpoint (Punta Ballena lighthouse) where you can see completely the salt flats of Pampatar, which are given thanks to the high concentration of salt in the water, not to mention its pink colors, in contrast to the mountains, the blue sky, and the sea at the other end, It creates a perfect scenery for those of us who love photography and nature, and to tell the truth, I am always impressed every time I visit this viewpoint, impossible not to feel proud that we have so much natural beauty in our country, besides the salt flats also play a fundamental role in the economy of Margarita, because its salt is of excellent quality, with which they create beauty products, typical sweets, cleaning products, among other things.
