🥇 Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción/Church of the Immaculate Conception (Esp-Eng) by
This chapel, currently under repair, is located at San Lázaro Street #805, almost at the corner with Oquendo and Márquez González. It’s a must-stop for patients and families from the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital, who drop by to leave a prayer and seek some calm in the midst of their hardships. The church is the mother house of the religious congregation of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, and next to it is their convent, which used to function as a school. It’s a true institution in the neighborhood.

🥈 De alto de mina a Versalles ( Esp/ Engl) by
A hike with pleasant people is always much more enjoyable, and this one was no exception. We started by meeting in Caldas, with great energy early in the morning. From there, we took a car to Alto de Minas, a journey of approximately 12 to 15 kilometers, which took us between 20 and 30 minutes, surrounded by green landscapes that already began to connect us with nature.

🥉 Walking in a nature reserve in the heart of the city (Es-Eng) by
This is a huge green space "green": with several hectares to enjoy a pleasant walk under the shade of the immense trees that protect us from the sun's rays, something essential given our climate, where it's vital to be protected to avoid heatstroke. The interesting thing about visiting this large space is that our loved ones can visit some "sites": and be entertained while we take a beautiful walk. One of the attractions is the "murals": area where many artists exhibit their work. Walks in the city center are always very interesting, given that we have many spaces located in the heart of the city.
