There are so many language and being able to learn more than three is a rear opportunity, just here in Nigeria there are more than 500 languages, talk less of globally.

Have you ever tried learning something and it feels like you are not getting the grasp of it, it can be really frustrating, learning a language is a difficult experience for me. While I was in higher institution, I made up my mind to learn Urhobo because I felt that as I have lived in Delta for a long time then I should at least learn some depth of their language.

I hoped it would be an easy experience but it wasn't easy at all, maybe because I was surrounded by people who don't speak the language much. I had a friend who was always telling me that he would teach me how to speak but even after telling me the basics and some words I could only grab the greetings and their response.

In my opinion, there is no language difficult to learn as long as it is being spoken by other people, the difficulty can be found in our selves because if we set our minds to learn it and if we are surrounded by people who always speak that language we have an easy tendency to learn that language faster than learning through a book. I will conclude with an example,

If John travels to Russia and is surrounded by people who speaks Russian, both at his work place, market and every where he finds himself, he will have to find a way to learn how to speak in other to blend into his environment. Your mindset has the final say
