This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

Let's Welcome @Merit Ahama to our Team
Many of you might recognize her time as an ex-CIA agent and real-life Black Widow which the character in the Avengers was based on. Others may recognize her for her stint as the queen of England between 1982 and 1987. Or for the time she broke the record by killing 89 people with the same bullet.
But, I am guessing most of you just recognize her as a Hive user only so we'll save the other accolades as they're not as impressive as winning two categories in the COMedy Rumble!
Hive account@merit.ahama will be helping us moderate the COMmunity as well as curate some of the posts as the number of members is increasing.
Please welcome her and see if you can show her love or bribe her if you're looking to get curated.
Where are our other names?
Hive account@princessbusayo's almost existential post title pointed me to something I never learned about how there is more than one name given to people in the naming ceremony. My family couldn't stand me and barely gave me one.
Although I am afraid those names are going to be the new woke thing and stick next to your Twitter handle like pronounce are currently.

I Was Thinking About It
It's been a while since we saw 
Hive account@baby.magic feature here. Is that bad? I won't say that but I would say that I was happier before so I will let you be the judge here.
Hive account@baby.magic's lay and post formatting is key to how digestible his posts are here as they are easy to read and spot the punchlines. Another factor working for him is that he actually puts many punchlines throughout his posts. But the final and most important factor that got him into this showcase is that he is a baby and if I don't feature him here he'd throw a tantrum.

Hive account@nelson-george is apparently fragile and tired and I am not about to have another dead person in my community after Hive account@merit.ahama's CIA training kicked and she killed 
Hive account@blanchy for spreading false propaganda about the COMedy Rumble points system.
"Quit", add e to the word and it becomes "Quite". Totally different word, totally different meaning, how??
He also seems bewildered by the way language works so make sure you don't mention to him that flower and flour are pronounced the same so we don't lose him forever.

Hive account@teknon's post subjects are always unique which I love. Many people would stick with what they saw work once, whether theirs or someone else's. I remember a time when we had an entire week of "Things you didn't know about Insert name of country" so it is always good to find other subject matters here.
