Healthy dessert for cold winter
Hello, community greetings these balls were made in January.
when it was -20 C and don't like to go out. it was a special day called Makar Sankranti. According to our tradition, each festival has some scientific background so we make food according to that. The Makar Sankranti comes in the middle of winter and for cold winter needs warm food. our ancestors had chosen the food for celebration according to the seasons and here they give the most importance to sesame seeds which are very good for the body during these cold winter days. for more about sesame, this post is useful. @hindavi/the-healthy-sesame-jaggery-balls-keeping-body-warm-in-heavy-winter
Ingredients:
1 cup thick sesame paste tahini
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp chopped almond
1 tbsp chopped pistachio
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp raisins
Adding maple syrup in tahini paste
Mixed tahini paste and maple syrup thoroughly.
Added sesame oil.
The nuts and dry fruits get mixed in all together
Take 1 tbsp mixture in the hand and roll them into a ball.
And here our healthy sesame ball is ready.
