Yesterday I came to the supermarket wanting to shop for kitchen necessities. Much to my surprise, I found these really cute cherry tomatoes in the vegetable aisle. I immediately took and sorted them carefully, so that no tomatoes would rot later. A package of good cherry tomatoes was in hand, and I bought it for Rp. 13,500. I have actually tried this type of cherry tomato before. In my opinion, this type tastes much different from other tomatoes, the taste is not too dominantly sour. Tomatoes do have a unique taste, in some dishes tomatoes even add a different taste to a salty or sweet dish. Therefore, I really like tomatoes, when I process them into several of my dishes in the kitchen.
Tomato Cherry Puding
As a lover of vegetables and even complementary vegetable ingredients such as tomatoes, I often find it difficult to differentiate whether tomatoes are included in the vegetable or fruit category. Whatever the presentation, I really like tomatoes
The idea to make pudding came to me when I remembered that a few months ago I had made pudding with tomatoes. It's just that I used tomatoes that were too sour yesterday. So, instead of being curious to get better results, I had to make pudding this time with cherry tomatoes. Below, look at the step by step for the cooking process.
Materials Used
- 9 cherry tomatoes
- 1 pack of powdered jelly
- 65 ml instant coconut milk
- 400 ml of air
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
Cooking Procedure
Step 1
Cut the cherry tomatoes into several pieces, then wash them until clean.
Step 2
Blend the tomatoes until smooth, adding a little water.
Step 3
Add water to the pan, then add the jelly powder while stirring.
Step 4
After the jelly is stirred evenly, add granulated sugar, stir again until the sugar dissolves.
Step 5
Add the blended tomatoes to the jelly, stir until evenly mixed. Then turn on the stove fire.
Step 6
Cook until cooked while stirring, so here I boiled it 2 times.
Step 7
Once cooked, put the jelly into the mold. Wait until it cools and the jelly hardens.
Step 8
Once hardened, remove the jelly into the mold. Then prepare instant coconut milk and cook until the coconut milk boils. The texture is allowed to thicken, so that it is more creamy and tasty.
Results
Serve the tomato pudding then drizzle with thick coconut milk fla, you can make the flan according to your wishes. For example, by adding your favorite vegetable milk. When cooking fla, if you want it sweet, add a little honey or granulated sugar as you like.
This pudding is very suitable as a complementary food for breast milk for babies because it is made naturally with processed cherry tomatoes. However, this pudding is not only intended for babies, it is also very suitable for adults. Because the freshness of tomatoes and other ingredients when enjoyed will be very tempting. I really like tomatoes, especially anything prepared from tomatoes is very fresh and tastes more complete.
