These types of sweets that are made in every home are really very common these days.So today I have brought you another very delicious sweet that is made during this time of the year from the art that I love. That is called 'green riots'. Munkarli is very tasty. Food that takes a little time to make but tastes sweet. So let's see how to make it.
Ingredients;
- 100g of green gram
- 150g of rice flour
- 50g of plain flour
- 250g of sugar
- Six pods of cardamom
- Hlaf teaspoon of cumin seeds
- Half cup of watwer
- Half teaspoon od salt powder
- 1/4 cup of water
- Half teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 25g of plain flour
The method of making;
First, wash and dry the mung beans and fry them in low flame for about fifteen minutes.
Let it cool for about 5 minutes and blend well.
Cumin and cardamom should also be roasted and powdered.
Now you have to fry the rice flour, for that place a pan on low flame and fry this flour stirring frequently for about three to four minutes.
Now heat another deep pan and add 5 table spoons of sugar to it and caramelize it.
Now add half a cup of water and stir it well.
Add remaining sugar and melt everything well. Then let it cool down.
Add about 4 tablespoons of sugar from the melted sugar to another cup or bowl.
Now add fried rice flour in another bowl. Add powdered cardamom and cumin seeds to it and add plain flour and stir.
Now make the flour ball by adding the sugar that has been left to rest.
Now take a tray and sprinkle some bread flour on it.
Now make the dough ball very thin.
After making it thin, sprinkle some bread flour on it too.
Now cut the shapes as shown in the picture.
Now let's make the paste.
For that, first add 25 grams of bread flour to a bowl, then add salt powder and turmeric powder to it and stir it.
Now add water little by little to make a thick liquid.
Let's take the previously prepared shapes one by one and dip them in this paste.
Now fry well in deep oil.
Here specifically, place a pan on the stove and add oil to it and let the oil heat up well. Then lower the heat on the stove and put the shaped plates coated in this batter into this oil and fry well until the sides turn dark yellow, about four to five minutes.
This sweet is very delicious, especially made during the New Year or on festive occasions. It takes a lot of time to make and requires a few more ingredients.
