Today, I'm showcasing another mural done by the artist Moff during her stay in Montreal this summer. She took advantage of the Residencia Mural program to paint several walls. They're absolutely beautiful, like this one.
Aujourd'hui, je vous présente une autre murale faite par l'artiste Moff lors de son séjour à Montréal cet été. Elle a profité du programme Residencia Mural pour peindre quelques murs. Ils sont de toute beauté comme celui-ci.

This mural is located in the alley behind Le LivArt, an art center on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. Murals have appeared in this alley every year, but this year was quieter; only the work of Moff appeared.
Cette murale se trouve dans la ruelle derrière Le LivArt, un centre d'art sur le boulevard Saint-Laurent à Montréal. Il y avait chaque année des murales dans cette ruelle mais cette année cela a été plus calme, seule l'œuvre de Moff est apparue.

I introduced this artist thanks to her participation in the StreetArt festival Canettes de Ruelle, see CCC's Street Art Contest #287. As a reminder, Moff aka Florencia Campóo, a Chilean artist, came from Santiago to Montreal for a residency through Residencia Mural, an exchange program between Chile and Quebec.
J'avais présenté cette artiste grâce à sa participation au festival StreetArt Canettes de Ruelle, voir CCC's Street Art Contest #287. Pour rappel, Moff aka Florencia Campóo, artiste chilienne, est venue de Santiago à Montréal en résidence grâce au Residencia Mural, un programme d'échange entre le Chili et le Québec.
I took two sets of photos. On my first visit, the sun filtering through the trees created patches of light. But with winter and its grey skies, the lighting became more consistent.
J'ai pris deux séries de photos. A mon premier passage, le soleil entre les arbres laissait des tâches de lumières. Mais avec l'hiver et son ciel gris, cela a permis d'avoir une luminosité "régulière".
This work is called Self-Mastery. Moff added a text on her Instagram account, which is always interesting to get some explanation from the artist:
"You can remain still. Control your emotions and impulses, and listen to your heart.
The embrace as an act of presence. With me, with you.
The warmth of skin, the love contained in a strong arm.
Touch."

L'oeuvre s'appelle la Maîtrise de soi. Moff a ajouté un texte sur son compte Instagram, toujours intéressant d'avoir quelques explications de l'artiste :
"Vous pouvez rester immobile. Contrôlez vos émotions et vos impulsions, et écoutez votre cœur.
L'étreinte comme un acte de présence. Avec moi, avec toi.
La chaleur de la peau, l'amour contenu dans un bras fort.
Le toucher"
