Sin embargo, solo 179 trabajos superaron los filtros de los curadores. Ésto se debe a que los autores muteados incurrieron en varias violaciones a las normas y reglas de la comunidad. As the number of publications increases so does the work of the feed curators. Community voting capacity is also compromised because we cannot ensure a vote for all authors. This will impact the rewards of various works. This is a statement to signify that the competition for votes begins within the feed. We can never sacrifice the value of the reward on good work, for the sake of spreading the voting power more fairly. That's not how it works.
Y ya lo hemos visto ésta semana. La longitud del trabajo, la calidad de las imágenes, la redacción, el valor intrínseco del análisis, serán los factores preponderantes en las recompensas de los contenidos. Cualquier autor podría pensar ¿Y esto no era así? Pues no, la tendencia era a votar TODOS los trabajos. Por supuesto, uno con mayor valor que otros. Pero había una especie de política a partir de la cual, se entregaba recompensas solo por esforzarse a publicar en el feed. Ya no será posible hacer esto.
And we have already seen it this week. The length of the work, the quality of the images, the writing, the intrinsic value of the analysis, will be the preponderant factors in the content rewards. Any author might think: "And this was not the case? Well no, the tendency was to vote ALL the works. Of course, one with a higher value than others. But there was a kind of policy from which rewards were given just for making the effort to publish in the feed. This will no longer be possible.
Y comprenderemos si algún autor se molesta. Pero no está en nuestras manos. Siempre advertimos que el poder de voto era limitado. El crecimiento exponencial de la comunidad ha hecho que llegue a un punto de quiebre tal política. Y sucede por una razón. Jamás arriesgaremos el apoyo que tiene la comunidad por no premiar aquellos trabajos donde se ve el esfuerzo por agregar valor en el feed. Es un asunto de sentido común. Hemos trabajado duro entretelones para ganar esa confianza y sería injusto que algunos autores salgan perjudicados por aquellos que no le ponen suficiente empeño a sus contribuciones.
And we will understand if any author gets upset. But it is not in our hands. We always warned that voting power was limited. The exponential growth of the community has brought such a policy to a breaking point. And it happens for a reason. We will never risk the support that the community has by not rewarding those works where we see the effort to add value in the feed. It is a matter of common sense. We have worked hard behind the scenes to earn that trust and it would be unfair that some authors are harmed by those who do not put enough effort into their contributions.
Mientras, seguimos trabajando puertas adentro para traer más votantes que apoyen los contenidos. Por ahí hemos visto varios que votan esporádicamente. Sin embargo, queremos inversores permanentes y en eso estamos trabajando, no lo duden. La parte que corresponde a los autores es enamorar a esos inversores. Que sientan que vale la pena apoyar la calidad que se ve en nuestro feed. Que su usuario se haga notar en el trending de #HIVE, el cual ha estado siendo ocupado por algunos trabajos de la comunidad.
In the meantime, we continue to work indoors to bring more voters to support the content. We have seen several who vote sporadically. However, we want permanent investors and we are working on that, no doubt about it. The part that corresponds to the authors is to make those investors fall in love. Let them feel that the quality seen in our feed is worth supporting. Let your user get noticed in the #HIVE trending, which has been getting occupied by some of the community's work.
