Today I had the urge to make some cookies again for christmas so we have at least 2 different kinds of sweets on the christmas Eve. Austrian Vanilla Crescent Cookies are a traditional cookie here in Austria and I tried my best to bake them today. They turned out really well for my fist time but I made them a little too huge to my feeling. I forgot that they get a little bit bigger when they are baked in the oven.
Again I made a huge mess in the kitchen and I had to clean it afterwards but it was worth it. These cookies also remind me of my grandparents because my grandfather liked them very much and my grandmother always baked them for christmas. I already tasted one of them and I have to say that they are not as good as from my grandmother but for my first time I am quite satisfied how they turned out.
