I started with a good team workout this morning. It was a good and sweaty workout. We did a lot of rowing, burpees, heavy kettlebells, some rig work and some abs.
I had a lot of cleaning to do to keep up with all the progress I have made with decluttering and supervising kids staying on task. We went through most of the house, so tomorrow should be relaxing-except for laundry upkeep. That never stops.
Legos are always everywhere with all the boys in the house. I love these little reminders of the kids. I am always aware that some day they will be gone and the house will be too quiet.
I decided to make sure I went on a walk/jog today. I wanted to clock a new route in my neighborhood where they have built some new houses.
It ended up being just about exactly 5 miles. Every little bit helps. I was doing good with running last year and it kind of fell off, so I need to hold back up again. I jogged pretty slowly for about 2 miles and walked the rest. I don't want to do too much too fast as far as jogging- so to avoid shin splints.
I need to start whittling away this excess weight I put on over the last year. Slowly but surely. Here we go!!!!!!
