I got some good sleep again last night as I continue to get used to the routine between my workout and work. I headed to the gym after my morning coffee and went for some intervals on the treadmill. I opted for a programmed one from the treadmill to see if it is a bit different. It was a good mix of hill and speed intervals for 45 minutes which was a good variant as I prepare later this week for another long run.
I was surprised that I did not feel as much soreness as I was expecting from the weight lifting session yesterday. I still may get some over the next day but I continued to keep the muscles warm as I did a set of trigger sessions in the afternoon as well. I was feeling pretty good so I also got in a good session for my core. As I get closer to getting everything back in tune, I need to start aligning my diet as well which will be a challenge as usual.
