Today I was due to only get the last day of Phase I of the new program which is more around core and mobility training. However, I remain wanting to do more to offset my diet decisions so I was up early again for a visit to the gym. I originally thought to only go for a long walk but realized that I have not done some interval training in a while so did that instead. The first speed interval was rough which surprised me but I was able to complete 45 minutes without much of a struggle.
I work with my busy schedule for the rest of the day but was done on a normal schedule which got me time to get my core and mobility training done early evening. I remained active with the family getting some things done which made today a relatively easy day for my daily goal. My deload phase of the program starts tomorrow and I will look to sprinkle in some cardio over the coming week but will get focus on rest and recovery while I can although the weekend will be busy.
