Christine Clements, one of the firsts female artist in dubstep at all, first in legendary and prestigious UK label Hotflush Records, which since the beginning was her main promoter. In the times when dubstep was slowly shaping its definition, her vision for the genre was radically different from the sounds that we know today. Production from Vaccine are recognized as melodic and ethereal with gothic ambient inspirations, distanced from the main floor rave bangers and rather designed for chilling and contemplation. I met her music in 2005, more than two years before her first release, when she was hyping by her husband, leading atmospheric drum and bass producer ASC. Before her time on the stage, she was running musical label together with husband and with the studio-skills and broader imagination came quite revolutionary into the game in 2007. Such a shame that world of dubstep wasn't ready for that kind of sounds and after releasing 8 singles she decided to step away from the stage and continue promoting other fresh names. I would like to share with you my favorite track from Vaccine, considered for me as a game-changer.
