Here's my selection of music to share with you today. As usual, we have a variety of styles, all things that I enjoy listening to from time to time.
Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer (1986)
Honestly, it's not my favorite song, but it's the very first MTV video I saw at a friend's house. I thought the video was strange then - and still think it's strange! But I also recognize the art and technology that went into it.
Like many of the other 80s songs I will share, this was very typical of the 80s... pushing the limits of technology, art and (sometimes) taste.

George Strait - The Chair (1985)
I recently shared this song with 
Gabrielle - Eg Lover (2018 Nynorsk Norwegian)
The title means: "I promise" - though I have a sneaking suspicion that the Norwegian word "lover" is actually related to the English word... think about what "love" is supposed to mean - a commitment to another person - a promise...
I am not completely sure about some of her choreography, but it's very fitting for her, from what I've seen from her. It's poetic, both in lyrics and in movement.
