[ESP] | [ENG] — El Desayuno: La Hora Feliz.

Sigo con esto de seguir practicando un poco para obtener mejores Fotografías. Diferentes ángulos, diferentes colores, diferentes elementos...todo influye para lograr obtener una buena composición. A veces me siento un poco estancada, en el sentido de que comienzo a sentir que todas mis fotografías se parecen y estoy repitiendo siempre un mismo patrón y por eso que siempre aprovecho la hora del desayuno, mi hora feliz, para inspirarme y practicar un poco tomando fotografías agradables de los platillos que preparo.

I'm still practicing a little bit to get better pictures. Different angles, different colors, different elements...everything influences to get a good composition. Sometimes I feel a little stagnant, in the sense that I start to feel that all my pictures look alike and I'm always repeating the same pattern and that's why I always take advantage of breakfast time, my happy hour, to get inspired and practice a little bit taking nice pictures of the dishes I prepare.

Resulta que tras preparar cada comida, organizar la mesa y luego servir los alimentos, mi inspiración se dispara y es ahí donde aprovecho de tomar fotografías. Siempre he pensado que mientras más se practique, tu habilidades mejorarán aún más...supongo que esto también es aplicable en la fotografía, ¿cierto?

Es extraño, pero ya forma parte de mi rutina elaborar platillos que se vean agradables a la vista, incluso a veces lo termino haciendo inconscientemente y muchas veces resultan tan lindos y apetitosos que no me puedo resistir a fotografiarlos. Es chistoso porque en la galería de mi teléfono hay más fotografías de mis comidas o postres que selfies mías, si les soy sincera a veces siento que me equivoqué de carrera...quién sabe, pero quizás lo mío era estar detrás de los fogones y del lente de una cámara.

It turns out that after preparing each meal, arranging the table and then serving the food, my inspiration is triggered and that's when I take the opportunity to take pictures. I've always thought that the more you practice, the better your skills will get...I guess this also applies to photography, right?

It's strange, but it's part of my routine to make dishes that are pleasing to the eye, sometimes I even end up doing it unconsciously and many times they are so beautiful and appetizing that I can't resist taking pictures of them. It's funny because in my phone's gallery there are more pictures of my meals or desserts than selfies of me, if I'm honest sometimes I feel like I had the wrong career...who knows, but maybe my thing was to be behind the stove and the lens of a camera.
